Claiming FAQ
How does billing work?
It’s a flat $49 a month, billed by Stripe. There’s no contract and no per-call or per-lead charge. You can update your card or cancel anytime from your private management link. If you cancel, your listing keeps your number until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then goes back to a standard listing.
Who answers calls on an unclaimed listing?
Unclaimed listings show the StartDrugRehab helpline, which is answered by a free, confidential admissions service that may connect callers with other treatment providers. Claiming your listing means people who choose your facility on its page reach your team directly.
How do you verify that I work for the facility?
First we confirm your email with a one-time code. If that email is on the same domain as the website in your facility’s SAMHSA record, your claim goes live as soon as you pay. If not (for example a Gmail address, or a different domain), our team checks it, usually by calling the facility’s published number, before it goes live.
What if you can’t verify my claim?
We cancel the subscription and refund your payment in full.
Does claiming change where my facility ranks in the directory?
No. Claiming changes your contact details and adds a Verified badge, website link and your own description. It doesn’t change your facility’s SAMHSA information or the order listings appear in.
Can I change my number or details later?
Yes. After you go live we email you a private link where you can request changes to your number, website, hours, description and logo. We review changes before they go live, usually within one business day.
Someone else already claimed our listing. What now?
Email us. We’ll check with the facility and correct it if it was claimed by someone who doesn’t represent you.
Our facility isn’t listed. Can you add it?
Our listings come from SAMHSA’s FindTreatment.gov. If you’re missing, email us and we’ll look into it.
